This Privacy Policy explains how PadSpec LLC(“PadSpec,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the PadSpec platform and websites (the “Service”). It applies to visitors of our marketing site and to users of the application.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Account and contact details (such as name, work email, company, and role), demo or sales inquiries, and any content you submit — including facility inputs, project data, and firm-authored rule overlays (“Customer Data”).
Information collected automatically
Usage and device information such as pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected through standard web and product telemetry.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- to authenticate users and enforce organization roles and tenant isolation;
- to respond to inquiries, provide support, and communicate about the Service;
- to monitor performance, prevent abuse, and maintain audit and security logs;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to train models for other customers.
3. Service Providers
We rely on a limited set of subprocessors to run the Service — for example, cloud hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, and product analytics. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations and only to provide services to us. A current list is available on request.
4. Data Retention
We retain Customer Data for as long as your organization maintains an account and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it within a commercially reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements. Generated specifications and audit records are retained as immutable versions to preserve the integrity of the design history.
5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, and least-privilege access controls. See our Security page for more detail. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Requests can be directed to privacy@padspec.com. For Customer Data submitted through an organization workspace, we act on behalf of that organization and will refer requests to it where appropriate.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in) and, where applicable, to understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
8. International Transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information there. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means, and the “last updated” date above will change.
11. Contact
Questions about this Policy or our data practices may be sent to privacy@padspec.com.
